Since One Less, Inc was founded in 2022, we’ve been chasing one ambitious goal: ending the global orphan crisis. The orphan crisis is huge, but we’re optimistic. We know how to solve the problem, and we make progress every day thanks to the help of local partners and generous supporters.

My story starts as an adoptive mom. Through the adoptions of my daughters, Hebsi and Shravani, I saw both the beauty of family and the heartbreaking reality that millions of children still wait.
Walking the streets of India, surrounded by children living alone, that reality hit me in a new way. I knew I couldn’t walk away.
That moment became the beginning of One Less — a dream that together we can rewrite these stories through adoption support and building safe homes.
